Produced by Michael J. Love, Assistant Professor of Dance
This Fall, the Ursinus College Dance Company will present Motion, Timbre, & Rhythm, a collection of pieces that explore various aural textures and theoretical concepts through a wide range of movement vocabularies. With a distinct focus on American vernacular cultures, members and guests of the Company will remain committed to community tradition and legacy as they discover choreographic possibilities. The concert will include works by Dr. Karen Clemente, Professor of Dance, in collaboration with Dr. Holly Hubbs, Professor of Music; Michael J. Love, Assistant Professor of Dance; special guest choreographer Emanuel “Manny” Chacon; returning special guest choreographer Sophiann M. Moore; and student choreographers Chris Gerrow ’26 and Molly Sherman ’24.
